Ripple announced that from 2020 to 2024, global banks have invested a total of 345 times in blockchain companies, with Citigroup and Goldman Sachs each making 18 investments, and JP Morgan, SBI, and Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Bank each making 15 investments.
According to the report, major banks have conducted mega-round investments of over $100 million in areas such as ▲transaction infrastructure ▲tokenization ▲custody ▲payment solutions, with a total of 33 mega-rounds in these areas over the past 4 years.
Global banking giants have invested in blockchain companies a total of 106 times, including 14 mega-rounds.
According to a survey conducted by Ripple targeting 1,800 financial industry leaders worldwide, 90% of respondents predicted that blockchain will have a massive impact on the financial industry.
