Minister of Defense, Minister of Finance, and Securities Commission Chairman "Expect Collaboration with Upbit"

Dunamu, which operates Upbit, announced that on the morning of that day, the Vietnamese Minister of Defense, Minister of Finance, and others visited the Upbit Lounge in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, to inspect the cryptocurrency exchange system.
Military Bank (MB Bank), belonging to the Vietnamese Ministry of Defense, plans to establish a Vietnamese cryptocurrency exchange through cooperation with Dunamu. Participants in this visit included Minister of Defense Phan Van Giang, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Tang, Securities Commission Chairman Vu Thi Thanh Phuong, and Military Bank Chairman Luu Trung Thai.
Dunamu explained Upbit's transaction settlement, wallet, and security systems, and presented its self-regulatory system and operational know-how built during the process of creating cryptocurrency-related laws and regulations.
Kim Hyung-nyeon, Vice Chairman of Dunamu, said, "We will provide Upbit's excellent technological capabilities and operational know-how to help Vietnam lead in the digital financial sector with high development potential."
Oh Kyung-seok, CEO of Dunamu, stated, "We will actively help Vietnam build an exchange model optimized for an institutionalized market."
Minister of Defense Phan Van Giang said, "After directly confirming the Upbit system, I gained confidence" and "Many Korean companies have entered Vietnam, and I am confident that they will achieve results in the financial sector as well."
Nguyen Van Tang, Vietnam's Minister of Finance, said, "I expect Dunamu can provide great help in establishing cryptocurrency laws and regulations in Vietnam."
