Samson Mow predicts Bitcoin will either continue its upward trajectory or pause before rebounding.

Altcoin Surge and Predicted BTC Price Changes

Samson Mow, CTO of Blockstream, recently expressed his opinion that Bitcoin (BTC), which has set a new record high, will continue its high-flying trajectory or potentially experience a temporary dip before rising again due to altcoins.

On the 14th, Mow presented two scenarios of Bitcoin price changes following altcoin declines on his X account.

He stated, "If Godzilla or Omega absorbs all the oxygen in the room, altcoins could fall by 30-40%" and "If altcoins reach their peak and massive selling occurs, Bitcoin will temporarily decline and then rise again."

By describing Bitcoin as Godzilla and Omega, he pointed out the recent Bitcoin rise and the ongoing altcoin surge, suggesting a potential Bitcoin-dominated scenario accompanying this altcoin explosion.

Moreover, he predicted a temporary Bitcoin decline followed by a resumption of its upward trend due to altcoin drops.

On the 14th, Bitcoin recorded approximately $123,785 on CoinMarketCap, setting a new all-time high.
