Blockchain analytics firm Elliptic has secured an investment from global bank HSBC, CoinDesk reported. As part of the investment and partnership, Richard May, HSBC’s Head of Banking Financial Crime, will join Elliptic’s board of directors. While the specific use of the funds was not disclosed, Elliptic is currently directing capital toward stablecoin regulation and the development of AI compliance tools.
